Club Regina Service Animal Policy
This will also help ensure a pleasant stay for other guests and Members. The resort provides this service to guests and Members who meet the requirements for needing a Service Animal during their journey. However, please note that the resort does not allow pets and, therefore, does not have additional amenities for Service Animals.
Terms and Conditions for Stays at the Resort with Service Animals:
- All Members or guests traveling with Service Animals must present the required documents according to the laws of their country. These documents should verify that their dog is considered a Service Animal and demonstrate that it has completed training and can perform tasks directly related to the owner's disability. According to the ADA (American Disabilities Act) and PROFECO in Mexico, providing emotional support is not covered within the required implementations for disability; therefore, Emotional Support Animals are not allowed.
- For the acceptance of service dogs, documentation supporting their training and corresponding identification is required.
- Service dogs are allowed with a maximum weight of 44 pounds.
- Guide dogs for individuals with visual impairments have no weight restrictions.
- In all cases, it is mandatory for dogs to wear an identifying vest.
- There is a limit of one authorized Service Animal per room stay.
- Service Animals are not allowed in common areas of the resort such as interior restaurants and bars, gym, pools, etc. However, designated areas are available for Service Animals to be walked.
- If a Service Animal is required to be present during any meal service in restaurants, it must be confined to the exterior and terraces of restaurants only, without exceptions, due to health and hygiene reasons.
- The resort reserves the right to enter the room if other Members report noise or any discomfort.
- Service Animals must be on a leash at all times in common areas of the resort.
- If the Service Animal is left alone in the room, it must be inside its travel crate.
- Service Animals are not allowed to sleep or sit on furniture, including beds. Hotel towels must not be used for any animal cleaning purposes.
- The owner of the Service Animal is responsible for its behavior during the stay at the resort and must sign a disclaimer upon arrival, committing to compliance.
- If the owner of a Service Animal violates any of the aforementioned points, the resort may take actions depending on the type of offense that has occurred.
